Kurdistan Lime Industrial Factory
Kurdistan Lime Industrial Factory commenced operations in 2013 and is located 5 kilometers along the Bijar–Takab road. The factory specializes in the production, processing, and distribution of quicklime, micronized lime, and hydrated lime. Currently, it produces and supplies an average of 260 tons of quicklime and 120 tons of hydrated lime on a daily basis.
The factory’s high production capacity is achieved through the use of advanced machinery and modern production technologies. It operates under an official license issued by the Ministry of Industry, Mining, and Trade. In addition to supplying the domestic market, its products are exported to neighboring countries including Armenia and Iraq. The required limestone is extracted from a nearby high-purity mine owned by the same company and processed using a fixed vertical kiln manufactured in Switzerland.
