Quicklime
Quicklime, also known as active lime, calcium oxide, calcined lime, or pure lime, is a chemical compound whose production requires large-scale, well-equipped industrial facilities. Quicklime does not occur naturally in its pure form and is produced through thermal processing of limestone. The name “quicklime” originates from its strong chemical reactivity with water; when combined with water, it releases a significant amount of heat and undergoes rapid transformation by absorbing oxygen and hydrogen from the surrounding environment.

Micronized Lime
Micronized lime, also known as pulverized lime, is produced by finely grinding lime or limestone into very small particles. Due to its increased surface area, micronized lime offers excellent reactivity and can be easily combined with other materials for use in a wide range of industries. In practice, micronized lime is used far more extensively than raw limestone. It is important to note that powdered lime is not the same as micronized lime, as these two materials differ significantly in terms of particle size, performance, and industrial applications.

Hydrated Lime
Hydrated lime, chemically known as calcium hydroxide, is a widely used alkaline compound derived from limestone through a controlled hydration process. This material is applied across various industries, including construction, iron and steel production, water and wastewater treatment, and the food industry. Hydrated lime is produced by reacting quicklime with water, resulting in slaked lime. It is available in different grades and concentrations and is typically classified into calcium-based and dolomitic types, depending on the composition of the original limestone.
